- Athletic information such as sport, position, school, height, weight, GPA, and performance statistics
- Highlight videos and other media you upload

- Profile views, recruiter interactions, and engagement analytics
- Usage and session data (device type, browser, pages visited, timestamps)
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage athlete and scout accounts
- Display athlete profiles to verified scouts and coaches
- Power AI-based matching and search features
- Provide analytics on profile views and recruiter interest
- Improve platform performance, safety, and user experience

Your privacy matters. We follow these principles when sharing data:
- With verified scouts and coaches: Athlete profile information is visible only to verified college scouts and coaches using the platform for recruiting purposes.
- Service providers: We may share limited data with trusted vendors who help us operate the platform. They are required to protect your information and use it only per our instructions.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or integrity of NextScout and its users.
We do not sell personal data. NextScout does not sell, rent, or trade user information to advertisers or third parties.

Athletes (and parents/guardians where applicable) have the right to:
- Access their personal information
- Edit or update profile details at any time
- Delete their account and associated data
Account deletion can be requested through account settings or by contacting us at privacy@nextscout.com. Some information may be retained temporarily if required for legal or security purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:

- Secure account authentication
- Limited access to sensitive data
No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect user data and reduce risk.
